An evening dinner talk with Dr. Peter Skerry, professor of political science at Boston College, on February 8, from 6:00-8:30 PM at the Riverview Room of the Citadel. Dr. Skerry will give an after-dinner talk on “Out of the Shadows, Into the Spotlight: A Commonsense Look at Immigration”. Attendees will meet from 6:00-6:45 for cocktails and conversation with the speaker, and a plated dinner will be served from 6:45-7:45. Dr. Skerry will address the audience for 30 minutes beginning at 7:15, and a question and answer session will follow.
This event is co-sponsored by the Citadel School of Humanities and Social Science and the Citadel Business School.

A reception precedes the speaker's presentation and a lively interchange between speaker and audience takes place afterward. The World Affairs Council of Charleston is a non-partisan, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
Our meetings take place at The Citadel Alumni Center (officially known as The John Monroe J. Holliday Alumni Center) located at 69 Hagood Ave. across from Johnson Hagood Stadium, Charleston, SC.
