ACADEMIC MAGNET TEAM FINISHES 6TH IN NATIONAL COMPETITION!

April The "M.A.D." team from Academic Magnet High School competed in the national Academic WorldQuest event in Washington, DC, April 28-29. The team of four students won the local competition in February in a field of 6 high schools. In the national event, they placed 6th of 39 schools from around the country. Thomas Ruppel, WACC Treasurer, awarded $2,000 in scholarship funds for the graduating seniors. We are already planning the 2023-2024 competition with six area high schools.
